Lately I've been having a lot of conflict about food. I have a number of books about different diets, and food groups stuck in various corners of my room and whenever i spot one I guilitily look away, unable to take their judgemental glares. One says gluten free, another says vegan, another says Paleo, another says- taco bell diet! Okay not really. Anyway, I've decided to just go with what feels right and for now that's being a sugar free vegan who is sometimes gluten free. No, I have not yet sprouted rabbit ears, my organs of hearing are very much intact and human.
Besides that, I've finally gotten around to editing the Thanksgiving pictures (from almost a month ago, oops). This was my first time celebrating the genocide of the Indians and eating ridiculous amount of a poor stuffed bird, but it was wonderful nevertheless. I got to spend time with truckloads of fantastic cousins, and aunts and uncles, and it was nice to feel part of a family, and reconnected with the Kadri clan. I'm looking forward to many more Thanksgivings up in Santa Barbara, and eventually getting to a stage when I can perfectly map out the Kadri family tree down to the little nieces and nephews. Someday.
