Last weekend Claremont was bombarded with UWCers. At first I was apprehensive about their visit, worried about how on earth we were going to fit so many people in such few beds, about what the reunion would be like, about whether things would be the same. In the end though- all my worrying was for nothing- everyone had a place to sleep, even if sometimes that place was the floor. The reunion in general, the ability to wake up in the morning next to some of my favorite people in the world, and feel that sense of complete security and comfort and to explore L.A. with them was absolutely amazing. It reminded me that the people I love are not so far away after all, and that despite time and distance nothing changes and they will always be there.
